Job Description:

  • Confidently and proactively supervise production teams.
  • Lead production teams toward solving production-related problems.
  • Conduct daily production meetings to track machine efficiency and outputs.
  • Manage people and resolve conflicts.
  • Work with the planning department to plan and schedule production runs.
  • Procure materials, equipment, and labour needed throughout the production process, including allocation of resources.
  • Ensure that production is completed before deadlines to fulfill deliveries.
  • Monitor and improve the efficiency of production equipment and output.
  • Oversee quality control throughout the production process.
  • Manage production KPIs to achieve set targets.
  • Monitor and control the level of stock inventories.

Key Requirements:

  • Reports to the Factory Manager.
  • Possess a qualification in Diploma or Degree.
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Production or Operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with other departments.
  • Experience with managing workers and handling conflicts.
  • Proficient in initiating projects, meetings and reports.
  • Equipped with quality control (QC) tools and 8D reports.
  • Ability in production planning and scheduling to fulfill delivery.
  • Knowledge in statistical tools is an added advantage.
